As such the senate formed an alliance with Pompey the Great, another senator in order to defeat Cassius and take the position of emperor.The alliance was successful and the two warring factions came to a stalemate. However, the Roman citizenry still remained in fear of the rise of the conspiracy of Cassius, the Roman soldiers swore an oath to prevent any plot of their own, Julius Caesar, or any other Roman politician, from taking the throne, therefore, the Roman people stoo d united against their current ruler.The other major story of the movie Julius Caesar is about the life of Julius Caesar. This character was a citizen of Rome, who was well known for his beauty and other factors as he was an object of desire for a lot of women. His skill in fighting made him a very feared opponent in many gladiatorial games.The political intrigue that took place in Julius Caesar's life as well as his life as a human being is also a significant part of the film. He had many enemies both political and military. As a result of this turmoil he was forced to make serious decisions which would affect the future of his country and himself.The Julius Caesar College Essay was first developed by George Lipsitz, who is a professor at Michigan State University.
